Jesus Existed & Is God Incarnate

1.42 ancient sources confirm Jesus existed — the most for any figure in ancient history. Alexander the Great has 6. Julius Caesar has 10. Aristotle has 5. Jesus was a real person, born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth. This is unanimously confirmed among historians.

2.There are 25,000+ manuscripts of the Bible — with the earliest manuscripts within 25 years of the gospel. Plato has 210 manuscripts, with a 1,200-year gap to the earliest copy. Caesar has 10, with a 1,000-year gap. Jesus's life was so significant that it was recorded 2500x more and 40x sooner than the greatest roman emperor of all time. What qualities did Jesus possess that made him so important? Was he the Son of God?

3.The Old Testament has 48+ prophecies written 400–1,000 years before Jesus that have been fulfilled. God gave prophecies so that humanity could have evidence, in writing, to clearly see that God can control reality and do miracles. Daniel 9 named the exact day Jesus would ride into Jerusalem as Messiah — 538 years in advance, down to a single Sunday in March 33 AD. If you look at Daniel 9 yourself, you can see the prophecy and the date Jesus would arrive, in writing, 538 years before it occurred. Psalm 22 described the crucifixion of Jesus, 500 years before it was invented — along with Roman practice of spearing the crucified in the side to confirm death (Zech 12:10, Ps 22:18). Isaiah 53 predicted he would be executed for the sins of others, and buried with the rich after dying with criminals. Through prophecy God also prefaced his coming so a religious system would be in place to spread His word and recognize divine proof when he did.

4.The resurrection of Christ, a miracle of God: Written testimony occurred within 2 years via Corinthians, with 400+ witnesses named. The resurrection is corroborated by hostile witnesses (Paul, James) as well as authorities conceding the tomb as empty. Alexander the Great's conquest is 100% accepted, despite having only 5 sources on a 300 year gap after occurring (no eyewitnesses named) while the resurrection account has 40 sources across 100 years, with eyewitnesses… 10/11 apostles were killed by Rome for refusing to recant what they knew was true, with John surviving in exile. The resurrection story has the lowest latency to becoming manuscript of any ancient events, driven by the need to record God's presence on Earth.

God's Intentional Design

5.Divine timing. God directed humanity, through Jesus, in the only 64-year window in human history where one message could reach the known world — the single moment and the first time when five independent conditions hit at once: (1) Koine Greek was the world's first universal language, (2) Pax Romana (first world peace) silencing the wars, (3) 250,000 miles of Roman roads connecting the globe for the first time, (4) Israel positioned as the center land-bridge of three continents to equally and quickly spread the message, (5) Jewish diaspora synagogues pre-built in every major city to strengthen & develop the word. Miss any one and the word of God dies in the province it was born in. These conditions allowed the gospel to reach Rome in 30 years and become the empire's dominant faith in 300. Jesus arrived at the literal perfect time for humanity to receive His word. If you were God and had to deliver a message, you would wait until the perfect moment to do so, logically.

Pax Romana — Roman roads — Roman Roads vs. The Ancient WorldRome built **~250,000 miles** of paved roads at its peak **(~AD 120)**. The longest network before Rome was the Persian Royal Road (~500 BC) — **~1,700 miles**. A **100×+ leap**, ready exactly when the gospel needed it.

6.Earth itself is engineered for human life. Even with 10²² stars in the observable universe, the expected number of planets meeting all 20 windows is less than one. We exist at the epicenter of God's one design for life. A few examples: Earth coincides in the galactic habitable zone, around a G2V yellow-dwarf star, at a 1 AU orbit, with a 23.5° axial tilt for seasons, an anomalously large Moon stabilizing the axis, Jupiter shielding from asteroids, an iron core generating the magnetic field, and water's 41 anomalous properties. Earth exists as the center of God's creation. Without these properties, life on Earth would fall short for humanity, God created the perfect environment for His images to live.

7.Mathematical signatures of God are embedded in the text itself. Genesis 1:1 is a chiasm/pattern signed in perfect mathematical order, centered with אֵת, the Hebrew text signature of Jesus. This signature is repeated 9,200 times in the bible. Also in Genesis 5, the 10 Hebrew names from Adam to Noah, by their literal meaning in sequence, spell the gospel. This is the genealogical line from Adam and Eve to the time of Genesis 5. It spells out: “Man is appointed mortal sorrow; but the Blessed God shall come down teaching that His death shall bring the despairing rest” — written 3,400 years before Christ. Poetry embedded in genealogical names. Daniel 9 predicted the exact day Jesus entered Jerusalem (173,880 days from Artaxerxes' decree). Human text doesn't and cannot do this — divine text does.

God Is Proven by Physics, Logic & Math

8.Reality is self-generating (autogenic), neither random nor predetermined — giving all beings free will and the capacity for emotion. Physics proves a self-generating ground exists, as seen in the evidence cards below. God exists as the substrate for this life, a connecting current through all of reality.

Even hostile sources (Talmud, Josephus) acknowledge he did “wonders” — they just attribute them to sorcery. No other figure in history checks any divine criterion or even claimed to BE God. The arrival of Jesus marked the turning point of this in the ancient world. The morals instilled in the Bible are the bedrock for human civilization over the last 2000 years, they have stabilized the globe out of paganistic ways.

13.The most successful athletes in the world are Christian. A player-by-player census of the 32 NFL starting quarterbacks, every starting WR1 and RB1, and the Top 100 of the NFL, MLB, NHL & world soccer — 496 elite athletes. Of the 262 who publicly state a religion, 93% are Christian; NFL starting quarterbacks reach 96.9%, and 99.3% across all NFL. Even in global soccer — the most religiously mixed arena on earth, drawing from the Muslim and Christian world alike — professing Christians outnumber all other faiths combined, 51 to 12. At the very peak of human physical performance, when these people name what they live by, they overwhelmingly name Christ. It's cool to be Christian.

Archaeology & Other Proof

14.The Bible keeps being confirmed in archeology — often by its own enemies. The three strongest Tier-A finds: the Tel Dan Stele — an Aramean king boasting of killing kings of the “House of David,” which proves David in the bible existed; Sennacherib's Prism + the Lachish reliefs — the 701 BC siege of Jerusalem was confirmed down to the burnt city, exactly as 2 Kings says; and the Merneptah Stele (~1208 BC) — Egypt's own monument naming “Israel” in Canaan, the earliest mention of Israel anywhere, giving proof to the earliest words of the bible. New Testament findings testify to the credulity of the Gospels as well, with the historian Luke correctly identifying 32 ancient countries, 54 cities, and 9 islands with the only ability to do so being eyewitness accounting.

15.Why it matters — the Bible is the bedrock of recorded history. Not the oldest writing, but the oldest sustained history on earth — a continuous, dated account of a real nation across a thousand years, written centuries before the famous historian Herodotus (~440 BC). And unlike every other ancient royal record — written to flatter the king — the Bible reports its own people's defeats and its kings' crimes: the fingerprint of honest history, not myth. It is also the best-preserved text of antiquity, copied with ~95% fidelity across 1,000 years (Dead Sea Scrolls). We already trust Herodotus, Tacitus, and Caesar as history on a fraction of this evidence — yet the most documented and most confirmed book of antiquity is the very one that testifies Jesus rose from the dead and is God incarnated.

16.The way Jesus speaks is unlike any teacher in history. Ten linguistic tests scanned his words alongside Paul, Buddha, Krishna, Confucius, Laozi, and the Qur'an. He ranks #1 on the ones that count:

He speaks as the author of the Law, not its messenger. Prophets say “Thus says the LORD”; rabbis cite their teachers. Jesus amends Moses' commandments (“but I say to you”) and forgives sins in his own name — authority no prophet claimed.

He commands nature and death by his own word (#1 of 7). “Peace! Be still!” to a storm, “Lazarus, come out!” to a corpse — no prayer, no invoked name. Elijah and Elisha prayed to God; Jesus acts as the source.
