GodExamined.com ("we", "us", "the site") is a free educational website presenting historical, scientific, logical, and mathematical material examining the case for God and the reliability of the Bible. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

The short version: We do not sell your personal information. We do not require an account to read anything. We collect only the minimal data needed to operate the site, understand aggregate traffic, and — if you choose to use it — sign you in with Facebook. You can request deletion of any data associated with you at any time.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Most of the site can be read without giving us anything. If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and message content you send. If you choose to sign in using Facebook Login, we may receive basic profile information you authorize (see Section 3).

Information collected automatically

Usage & analytics data. Like most websites, we log standard technical information such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate region, browser type, device type, and timestamps. This is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to keep the site running.
Cookies and similar technologies. We and our analytics providers may use cookies or local storage to measure visits and remember basic preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site remains readable without them.

7. Data Deletion Requests

To request deletion of any data associated with you — including data received through Facebook Login — email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will remove the associated data within 30 days and confirm once complete.

8. Children's Privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
